SWEL
SWEL provides Kansas City metro’s uniformed heroes as well as others from throughout the country with free, weekend-long beach trips, where they learn how to use surfing as a form of therapeutic sport to disconnect from their high-vigilant and risky jobs as first responders, active duty military and veterans. Each trip allows participants to decompress, connect with others who understand their experiences, and be reinvigorated to live their lives to the fullest.
